Japan has separate morning and afternoon sessions

TSE cash equities trade 9:00–11:30 and 12:30–15:30 JST, with a lunch break between sessions.

Taiwan time is one hour earlier

Japan is one hour ahead of Taiwan, so the sessions are roughly 08:00–10:30 and 11:30–14:30 Taiwan time.

Japanese cash stocks settle T+2

JPX currently uses a T+2 settlement cycle for domestic stocks.

Japan uses daily price limits, but not a single percentage

TSE sets absolute-yen daily price ranges based on a base price, with different limit amounts by price level.

Actual hours, fractional/single-share availability, fees, FX, and overseas-market access vary by broker. Check current broker rules before trading.
