Labor Insurance is social insurance

It provides benefits for insured events such as maternity, sickness, disability, old age, and death.

Labor Pension is an individual retirement-account system

Employer contributions to the Labor Pension system are separate from Labor Insurance premiums.

A retiree may receive both

If each system’s conditions are met, they can become two separate retirement-income sources.
