Regular trading is 9:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. ET

Current NYSE and Nasdaq official hours list the regular stock session from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Taiwan time changes with U.S. daylight saving

During U.S. daylight saving, the regular session is roughly 21:30–04:00 Taiwan time; during standard time it is roughly 22:30–05:00.

Extended hours are not the same as the regular session

Nasdaq currently supports pre-market and after-hours sessions, but broker access and order types vary. Liquidity can be lower and spreads wider.

Most applicable securities settle T+1

Since May 28, 2024, the standard U.S. settlement cycle for most applicable securities has been one business day after trade date.

Actual hours, fractional/single-share availability, fees, FX, and overseas-market access vary by broker. Check current broker rules before trading.
